Earlier today, rumours circulated of Yoga guru and founder of Patanjali Ayurved, Baba Ramdev in talks to buy NDTV. These have now been denied.
Both a journalist at NDTV and a Patanjali have denied the news story. Patanjali Ayurved Ltd and Patanjali Yogpeeth spokesman S. K. Tijarawala said, “This is bogus, baseless and unwarranted news that @yogrishiramdev in preliminary talks to buy NDTV @Ach_Balkrishna.”
Similarly, NDTV journalist, Nidhi Razdan tweeted, “Hello people, Ramdev is not buying NDTV. Thank you.”
Reports emerged today that Ramdev was one of the parties, NDTV was in talks to about a possible sale.
