Rukku Nahar pays emotional tribute on abrupt exit from ‘EastEnders’

Rukku Nahar has expressed sadness after her character Habiba Ahmed was suddenly axed.

The 24 year-old- actress took to social media to describe her exit as “end of a chapter”.

In her final scenes last week, Habiba was seen leaving in a taxi despite her sister Iqra Ahmed pleading her to stay.

Nahar took to Instagram, “BYE BYE HABIBA, thank you @bbceastenders for welcoming me into one of the biggest soaps in the country!

“I’ve learnt so much in the last two years and I’m grateful to have made friendships for life ❤️ End of a chapter, onto the next one.”

Nahar joined the show in February 2019 as one of Masood Ahmed’s troublesome nieces.
