RSL planned for Sunrise’s Yarr Radio in Q4 of ’04

Sunrise Radio’s young hit music station Yarr Radio has already been a hit on digital radio since its launch two years ago. The station now plans to hit it big time with a month long RSL (Restricted Service License) in East London. Yarr Radio will continue to broadcast on DAB Digital Radio and Sky Digital as well as a RSL on the 87.7 frequency on the FM band.

The broadcast will be available in the final quarter of the year (to be confirmed), a tentative date of October has been given. More details by the station will be unveiled soon.

You may also recall that recently Panjab Radio carried out a RSL broadcast in parts of London, which proved a huge success. Could the result be the same for Yarr Radio? We’ll wait and see!
