‘Rowdy Rathore’ to premiere on Sony TV Asia

Sony Entertainment Television Asia will be premiering one of this year’s biggest movie hits in October.

The action packed Sanjay Leela Bhansali film starring Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha proved a runaway success at the box office when it was released in May.

‘Rowdy Rathore’ is a remake of the Telugu film ‘Vikramarkudu’, which was later remade in Tamil as ‘Siruthai’. This was a return for Akshay in the action genre after seven years.

‘Rowdy Rathore’ will telecast on Sony Entertainment Television Asia on Sunday 28th October at midday and 20:30.

Another premiere on the sister channel, Sony MAX will be action drama ‘Shanghai’ starring Emraan Hashmi on Sunday 14th October at 21:00.
