‘Rowdy Rathore’ sequel scrapped
The long-awaited sequel ‘Rowdy Rathore 2’ has reportedly been shelved, following three years of development efforts.
According to Bollywood Hungama, the project has been discontinued, with the script now being reworked into a standalone commercial film. Despite extensive discussions over the years, the producers, Shabinaa Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali, were said to be reluctant to proceed, largely due to Disney’s unwillingness to commit to the sequel.
