Roshni Chopra to host shows for Sony & Star
Popular actress and presenter Roshni Chopra has been confirmed to host Star Plus’ new travel show ‘Jee Le Ye Pal’ alongside Yudishtir of ‘Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao’ fame.
According to TellyBuzz, the reality TV show will consist of six teams with each team will comprising of a celebrity and a common man. The six celebrities confirmed are Karan Wahi, Gaurav Khanna, Rati Pandey, Pavitra Punia, Anupriya Kapoor and Kinshuk Mahajan.
‘Jee Le Ye Pal’ is expected to start in August and will run bi-weekly over a six week period.
Roshni Chopra is also hosting Sony Entertainment Television Asia’s new show ‘Comedy Ka Naya Daur’. She replaces Shweta Tiwari who was roped in for just two episodes.
A source told TellyChakkar, “Roshni Chopra has already been a part of Comedy��_so the channel decided to get her back once again. Roshni will be seen hosting the show from the fourth episode. However, Kapil Sharma�۪s partner Ankita Lokhande who is currently doing Pavitra Rishta will no longer be a part of the show due to date issues. The production house is still trying to get someone who can replace Ankita and in all probability Shweta Tiwari will be Kapil�۪s partner in the show. Furthermore, Rajiv Thakur – Sugandha Mishra will make a wildcard entry in the sixth episode.”
