Roshan Abbas show to debut on Sony TV

Popular TV personality Roshan Abbas is set to make his production debut on Sony Entertainment Television Asia with a drama tentatively called ‘Palampur Express’.

The story is about the journey of a girl athlete.

A source delved some information about the show to TellyChakkar, “The cast is relatively new and we are yet to finalise the lead actress of the show. Yesteryear actor Tej Sapru is playing a vital role in the show. He will be seen as the father of the lead girl. The protagonist is an athlete, a sprinter. It is a very simple and sweet story of this athlete who after winning the championship in her city lands in Mumbai for the higher level championship. And then comes the turning point when she falls in love which marks the beginning of a new journey in her life. The lead character is expected to be called Pavani. This show will be a daily and is expected to launch in April. This will be a primetime show.”
