Rohit Shetty has become hot property following the success of his last movie, ‘Bol Bachchan’ (2012). Therefore, news that his forthcoming ‘Chennai Express’, starring King Khan, has sold for a whopping 105 crore should come as no surprise.

A trusted source revealed to Times of India, “Shah Rukh and a film corporation are partnering on this one. Chances are that they will only sell the satellite, home video and music rights and actually keep the overseas and Indian theatrical rights with themselves”. The project is co-produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur who was not preparedto givecomment.

It is a little premature in belief that despite only selling part of therights, the team are rumoured to have sold them forsuch a magnificient amount. No doubt confirmation will be something that comes to light later. However, it deserves to be said that not only is this a venture anticipated heavily by the audiences but also trade folk too.
