It was first rumoured that Deepika Padukone��had been signed and then talks of Kareena Kapoor taking the role followed. However, director Rohit Shetty has put all rumours to rest by��stating that he is yet to find the heroine for the lead in his next venture ‘Chennai Express’.
Talking to the media, Hindustan Times��reports Shetty saying, “It is too early…we have not yet decided. We are waiting for Bol Bachchan to release. So till July end we will not finalise. After that we will take up a call on that.” Shah Rukh Khan has already been signed on as the male protagonist and the film��revolves around his character and the events that take place during his train journey from Mumbai to Rameshwaram.
Shetty’s��next release will be ‘Bol Bachchan’ which stars Abhishek Bachchan, Ajay Devgn, Asin and Prachi Desai with Amitabh Bachchan making an appearance too.
