Rohit Shetty all set to make acting debut with ‘India’s Next Superstars’

Director Rohit Shetty joined director-producer Karan Johar to judge Star Plus’ ‘India’s Next Superstars’ (2018).The directors are judging and picking the best of the best in the acting competition, but Shetty himself is all set to make his acting debut on the show as well. He and Johar will be performing a skit for the grand finale of the show this weekend.

As according to Mirror, an source said it is a “mini KJo and Rohit Shetty production”, adding, “It is a fun act that the filmmakers are taking very seriously. Their scripts have already been scrapped twice and rewritten, while show hosts Karan Wahi and Rithvik Dhanjani have also been roped in for the act. Rehearsals are currently underway.”

Meanwhile, Shetty’s next directed release will be Ranveer Singh starrer ‘Simmba’.
