Rohit Shetty denies rumours of film with Katrina Kaif

Fresh from celebrating the super success of ‘Simmba’, filmmaker Rohit Shetty is preparing for his next ‘Sooryavanshi’.

Reports suggest that Akshay Kumar, who plays ATS officer Veer, will be paired opposite Katrina Kaif.
A source said, “Akshay will be seen in the role of ATS officer Veer Sooryavanshi in this comedy-drama film. Apparently, the actress, paired romantically opposite him, will play his girlfriend and wife, a pillar of support in a background full of corruption and intrigue. It’s a strong role and Katrina is definitely being considered as one of the options and approached for the same. It’s all very hush-hush right now till everything is finalised.”

Shetty denied the news. He was cited in Filmfare saying, “It’s not true. We are still working on the script.”
