Rohit Shetty denies tiff with Shah Rukh Khan

Ever since the success of his recent release ‘Simmba’ (2018), rumours are rife that there’s been a dispute between director Rohit Shetty and his ‘Dilwale’ (2017) hero Shah Rukh Khan. However, the film maker has finally put rumours to rest stating there is no such thing.

According to Times of India, Shetty had been faced with the questions of animosity between him and Khan which he had always shrugged off. In a recent interview, he finally put rumours to rest stating that he and Khan are still on very good terms and if there was any hint of negativity between them he would approach the actor himself and sort it out.

He said, “Not really. No, actually you know what happens is on a technical basis people don’t realise, if you see the titles of Simmba, the colour, the DI (of the film) everything has happened at Red Chillies where Zero was also being worked, and that is Shah Rukh’s company.”

He added, “So, agar aisa kuch hoga (his alleged fight with SRK) then why would I work there. There’s nothing like that. Nothing. It’s just that we’ve not done a film together toh abhi yeh ho gaya ki jhagda ho gaya hai. That happens.”
