Rohit Shetty confirms no ‘Ram Lakhan’ remake on the cards?

Rohit Shetty must have got a little frustrated when he was asked non-stop about the remake of 1989’s ‘Ram Lakhan’, ever since it was announced. However, the filmmaker has now confirmed that the remake is no longer on the cards.

When asked about the upcoming film, for which many stories have been doing the rounds, he replied, according to Indian Express, “We are not doing it. Me and Karan are doing something else. Very soon, we�۪ll tell you what we are doing”. His comment is somewhat unclear so it doesn’t really specify whether the remake has been delayed or shelved altogether.

Shetty was to make the film in collaboration with Karan Johar. It remains to be seen how they come together now, even if not for the ‘Ram Lakhan’ remake.
