Rohit Shetty confirmed as ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ host for next season


Rohit Shetty is confirmed to host next seasons ‘Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi’ (KKK), after the success of ‘KKK 8’.

Reported on DNA India, word is that Shetty will be starting his next film project in April – ‘Simmba’, starring Ranveer Singh – but will reserve June and July to concentrate on ‘KKK’. Once complete, Shetty will return to finish shooting for ‘Simmba’. The location for the next season has not yet been confirmed, last year they went out to Spain for the show.

A source revealed, “Simmba is slated for a December 28 release and Rohit is committed to finishing the principal photography by around mid-October. Right now, he is shooting for the reality show, India’s Next Superstars with Karan Johar and is also simultaneously scripting Simmba. In March, he will leave on a recce for his film. But the important thing is that the filmmaker, who has become a favourite television host, is definitely reserving his monsoon break for the next season of KKK.”
