Rohit Purohit to begin work on ‘Porus’ next week

Rohit Purohit will be making a return on the small screen with Sony Entertainment Television’s ‘Porus’, after his last major appearance a couple of years ago.

The actor told Raj Baddhan on Sabras Radio’s ‘Drivetime’ show that he will begin shooting for the show next week. He will be seen as the powerful character of Alexander in the epic series.

Purohit also expressed his excitement at bagging the role. He said, “I’m very excited now. The best thing about it is that the show has started shooting. I haven’t started shooting yet but the other cast members have. The way it is being shot is amazing. I’m very excited to play this character Alexander. Everybody knows about this character. Also it is very challenging and I’m playing a complex character.”
