Rohit Kachroo appointed ITV News UK editor
Rohit Kachroo has been appointed UK editor at ITV News.
He replaced Lucy Manning, who defected to the BBC in June.
Kachroo is currently the broadcaster’s Africa correspondent and has covered some of the biggest stories including the death of Nelson Mandela and the Oscar Pistorious trial.

Kachroo will be responsible for crime, terror and home affairs stories for ITV News, as well as providing long-form reports for ITV�۪s ‘Tonight’ and monthly current affairs programme, ‘On Assignment’.
