Rohan Sippy accuses YRF of double standards

Much has been said recently about actress Rhea Chakraborty not giving producer Rohan Sippy dates for the promotion of her upcoming film, ��Sonali Cable�۪, in which she plays the title character.�� Chakraborty, who debuted with Y Films�۪ ��Mere Dad Ki Maruti�۪ (2013), is managed by YRF�۪s talent agency.�� Sippy has gone on record to accuse YRF of double standards for not allowing Chakraborty to give him the required dates for promotion.

���I don’t know if she can promote the film or not. But it’s strange that Rhea’s management is not reverting to us about her dates. Since she plays the title character, we can’t finalize the promotion schedule��_ I don’t understand how YRF can have double standards. Recently, they pushed ahead the�ʉ�Dawaat-e-Ishq�۪��release and I’m sure they expected Aditya and Parineeti to promote their film for some more time. ��It’s a given that a film has to be promoted closer to its release,�۝ Sippy said to Bollywood Hungama.

A spokesperson from Yash Raj Films said that Chakraborty is currently busy with a number of commitments, including shooting for YRF�۪s ��Bank Chor�۪ opposite Riteish Deshmukh.�� The spokesperson added that the actress will do her best to promote ��Sonali Cable�۪.

��Sonali Cable�۪ is set to release on 17th October.�� The film also stars Ali Fazal and Anupam Kher.
