‘Rocketry: The Nambi Effect’ receives standing ovation at Cannes 2022

R Madhavan’s directorial debut, ‘Rocketry: The Nambi Effect’, has received a standing ovation after its screening at the Cannes Film Festival 2022.

Madhavan and Nambi Narayanan, on whom the film is based on, were seen walking the red carpet as the film made its grand premiere. Madhavan shared in a statement, “I’m overwhelmed and exhilarated. It’s a surreal moment for all of us at Team ‘Rocketry’. Humbled and grateful By God’s grace. Thank you for all your love and support. Now to prepare for the release on July 1”.

Phyllis Logan, Vincent Riotta and Ron Donachie star in the film and it will see a special appearance by Shah Rukh Khan and Suriya.
