Rock On Music’s ‘Indian Idol 10’ UK tour gets off to a flying start in Leicester

Rock On Music is rejoicing today after its ‘Indian Idol 10’ UK tour on Friday (22nd February 2019) got off to a flying start in Leicester.

The huge Bollywood event promoters, Rock On Music, helmed by Vijay Bhola, first announced the UK leg of the successful tour, during the conclusion of the reality show on Sony TV back in December. Since then, the demand for the tour has been unprecedented, with the series of three UK shows this month sold-out in record time.

The first show, which took place in Leicester, was put together in-association with Leicester based Desi Bites’s Vijay and Amrish. It was held at Morningside Leicester Arena, which has a capacity of 2,500 plus. It is believed from figures seen by BizAsiaLive.com that there was nearly 3,000 spectators at the event – making it one of the biggest Bollywood events in Leicester ever. Prior to their performance, the three singers also dropped by at Sabras Radio (Leicester radio partner) to have an interaction with fans and for a live interview on-air on ‘Drivetime’.

Furthermore, Rock On Music has secured a three more dates in April for the lucrative ‘Indian Idol 10’ trio. They will be joined by another finalist from the series, Ankush Bhardwaj, giving the show a slightly new edge. The April tour has been rechristened ‘Indian Idol Reloaded’, which will take place on Friday 12th April at Indigo, The O2, London, Saturday 13th April at The ICC, Birmingham, and Sunday 14th April at De Montfort Hall, Leicester. The Leicester and Birmingham shows are being promoted in association with TLC Events and Desi Bites respectively.
