‘Rock On 2’ slated for August 2016 release

‘Rock On!!’ (2008) had marked the acting and singing debut of filmmaker Farhan Akhtar. ��The film saw much success with critics and audience alike and more recently, the makers had announced a sequel to it. ��After slight delay to its schedule, the sequel has now been slated for release in August 2016.

PTI quote producer Ritesh Sidhwani as saying, “‘Rock On 2’ ��starts at the end of August and the film will release next August.”

The film will star actors who featured in the first instalment, such as Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal and Prachi Desai, and will also have a new addition in Shraddha Kapoor.
