RK Films to return after 13 years

AaAbLautChalen
'Aa Ab Laut Chalen' was RK Films' last release in 1999

Having sizzled on our screens for nearly 80 years, andaccredited as the first family of Bollywood, the Kapoors are still flying high.A long 13years after RK Films released their last,, it has been reported that the banner will fly once again.

“Yes, we are planning to make a series of films. There’s so much talent out there that’s making wonderful movies,” says Randhir Kapoor, talking to Bollywood Hungamaabout re-introducing the RK Films production house since’Aa Ab Laut Chalen’ (1999).

Many of the filmspreviouslymade under RK Films had a Kapoor involved in other aspects as well, be it acting or directing. When asked if Kapoor himself would act inor direct any of the futureprojects he replied, “I’d love to act in movies, but the roles have to be meaty enough…No (to directing), there’s so much young talent out there. Let’s make movies with them.”

Kapoor was last seen in Sajid Khan’s ‘Housefull 2’ (2012). With great classics such as ‘Shree 420’ (1955), ‘Bobby’ (1973), ‘Ram Teri Ganga Meli’ (1985) and ‘Henna’ (1991) to its name, there’s much anticipation as to what the future RK Films’ will hold.
