Riz Ahmed confirmed as one of the first hosts for ‘Saturday Night Live UK’
Riz Ahmed is set to take centre stage as one of the first hosts of ‘Saturday Night Live UK’, marking a major moment for the British actor when he fronts the show on 4th April.
The Academy Award winner, known for his acclaimed performances in ‘Bait’ and ‘Hamlet’, will bring his sharp wit and unmistakable presence to the live London broadcast. He will be joined on the night by rock giants Kasabian, promising a high‑energy episode to round off the show’s opening run.
Ahmed’s hosting slot follows two earlier episodes featuring Tina Fey on 21st March and Jamie Dornan on 28th March. Fey, celebrated for her era‑defining tenure on the US version of ‘Saturday Night Live’, will launch the UK edition alongside indie favourites Wet Leg. Dornan, the Northern Irish star of ‘Belfast’, will take the reins the following week with BRIT Award‑winning band Wolf Alice as musical guests.
