Ritesh Sidhwani on dismal box office response to ‘Rock On 2’

This week’s release ‘Rock On 2’ had many hopes pinned to it. However, it hasn’t managed to create much impact on the box office. Excel Entertainment’s Ritesh Sidhwani recently reacted to the response the film has received.

Sidhwani has blamed PM Narendra Modi’s demonetisation as a reason the film hasn’t fares well. He told a news portal, according to Bollywood Life, “Of course, it is disappointing. There was collateral damage to what the larger picture was by the government. We can’t be selfish, but personally it is disappointing because you made a film for two years and there is no second chance that we will get. We won’t have a second chance because next week there will be some other film”.

The film stars Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal, Shraddha Kapoor, Prachi Desai, Purab Kohli and Shashank Arora.
