Ritesh Sidhwani denies ‘Raees’ postponement

The box office clash of the year was going to be between Salman Khan starrer ‘Sultan’ and Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Raees’ which were both scheduled for an Eid release. However, many would’ve been breathing a sigh of relief to know that the release of the latter had now apparently been postponed. Interestingly, these seem to be rumours, according to Ritesh Sidhwani of Excel Entertainment who are producing ‘Raees’.

Sidhwani took to Twitter to deny reports.

Trade analyst Komal Nahta had broken the news of the postponement of ‘Raees’ a short time ago.

And now, here’s the news of the year!! ShahRukhKhan’s Raees has been postponed. It will NOT clash with SalmanKhan’s Sultan on Eid this year.

So, it very much still seems that these two Khans will be hitting the cinemas on the same day his Eid.
