Ritesh-Genelia set for box-office clash

Box-office clashes between two big films or two big stars have been witnessed time and again in Bollywood. But this time it’s rivalry between husband and wife.

Both Ritesh Deshmukh and his wife Genelia D’Souza who got married earlier this year are facing each other at the ticket window as their respective films are set to release on the same Friday. Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum’ (2012) and Anees Bazmee directed ‘It’s My Life’ (2012) will battle it out.

Speaking to Hindustan Times, Boney Kapoor co-producer of ‘It’s My Life’ said, “July 27 could be a possible release date for us, but it�۪s not confirmed yet. We might push it to August. When asked about the Riteish-Genelia collision, he says, ���We will see how things go.�۝

As things stand today both movies will hit the marquee on Friday 27th July 2012. Let’s see if the clash can be averted.
