The ‘Masti’ (2004) franchise has brought actor Riteish Deshmukh much fame, but after getting married to fellow actor Genelia D’ Souza in 2012, he had sworn not to star in any sex comedies. Now, as he is filming the third installment to the ‘Masti’ series, he admits that you can’t say ‘never’.

To Mumbai Mirror, he said, “Sex comedies don’t excite me. But it’s a great franchise and I am open to working with all kind of genres. All this is one more lesson I’ve learnt-Never say never.”

Deshmukhis currently promoting his next, ‘Bangistan’, where he is working with Pulkit Samrat for the first time, who he says brings a new energy to the sets. He said, “When you are working with the same actors, you get complacent and there’s no excitement left. Pulkit brought new energy to the sets and I hope he learnt something good from me too.”

Deshmukh had last worked with D’Souza in their hit ‘Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya’ (2012), and says he’s awaiting her comeback more than ever. He revealed, “I’m a big Genelia fan. She is charming and lively and I hope she gets back to films soon. But someone will have to approach her with the right script, someone has to want to cast us together as a couple. I am not producing a film for her, at the moment.”

After ‘Bangistan’, is slated to release on 7th August, Deshmukh will also start working on ‘Housefull 3’ which starts rolling in August.
