Riteish Deshmukh on Salman Khan agreeing ‘Shivaji’ biopic

Riteish Deshmukh has opened up about how Salman Khan offered to be a part of the biopic on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in Marathi, without knowing what part he was going to play.

According to Deccan Chronicle, Deshmukh plays the eponymous Marathi warrior in the Marathi film. In an interview with the publication, Deshmukh said, ���It was extremely gracious of him (Salman) to have offered to be a part of this without knowing exactly what part he is going to play. I respect that faith he has in me and our friendship.�۝

Deshmukh added that the film was still in the scripting stage and was too early to talk about the project.

Khan also did a cameo in Deshmukh’s hit film ‘Lal Bhaari’.

Deshmukh stars in this weekend’s release ‘Banjo’.
