Riteish Deshmukh has no fascination for solo hero films

After��debuting as a solo lead with ‘Tujhe Meri Kasam’ (2003), Riteish Deshmukh shot to fame with the many multi-starrer films he featured in.

Speaking to Mid Day, the actor said, “Most multi-starrers that I have done have all been sequels. From ‘Masti’ to ‘Kyaa Kool Hai Hum’ and ‘Housefull’, all franchises have given me a lot of recognition. I have no fascination for solo hero films. After working for so many years in the industry, I have figured that it�۪s always good to have work rather than sit idle.”

The actor will next be seen as a solo hero in Ravi Jadhav’s ‘Banjo’ opposite Nargis Fakhri. The film is slated to release on 23rd September.
