Riteish Deshmukh has revealed that he plans to be staying away from movies for the rest of the year as his focus now shifts onto two upcoming television shows.
Deshmukh made the announcement during promotions of his recent film, ��Banjo�۪ (2016), according to Times of India.
The actor was asked about his rugged look with long hair and stubble and he joked, ���The look is due to unemployment… Actually I am doing two television shows and will start doing movies from January so till that time, I am going to grow my beard.”
Although he later admitted to changing his look for the upcoming film, ��Banjo,�۪ which even led to a delay of 5 months in the filming schedule. ��The rugged looked has in fact grown on Deshmukh (pun intended) so much that he adds, ���I like the fact that I’m looking very different from the way I used to look for last so many years. And I am really thankful to my director and producer who believed that I could really pull off something like this.�
Directed by Ravi Jadhav and also starring Nargis Fakhri, ��Banjo�۪ is set for release on 23rd September.
