Rishtey has inked a deal with Pakistani broadcaster, TV One to air content in the Europe territory.

The channel is hoping to spruce up its weeknight band with the launch of ‘Meray Dil Meray Musafir’ from Monday 9th May at 21:30. The show based in Istanbul is a captivating story of love, intense rivalry and betrayal.

This will be the first time Rishtey will broadcast content from TV One. It is said that the channel has been seeking for strong Urdu content for a number of months. With this deal, it hopes to counter attack competition from popular Pakistan channels – Hum TV, Geo TV and ARY Digital. It is worth noting that Rishtey was the first Indian broadcaster in the UK to air Pakistani content from Hum TV, which paved the way for the full service in the UK.

It is not yet known, which other TV One shows Rishtey will broadcast after the 20-episode run of ‘Meray Dil Meray Musafir’.
