Rishi Kapoor confirms separation of Ranbir-Katrina?

Ranbir Kapoor is known to be a mummy’s boy within the Bollywood industry and even father, veteran actor, Rishi Kapoor has never denied these claims. The father-son duo share a relationship filled with respect for one another and it is often heard Ranbir Kapoor seeks advice from his father when it comes to his profession.

However, the most recent of his movies have not fared well at the box office, such as��’Roy(2015), ‘Bombay Velvet'(2015) and ‘Tamasha'(2015), which has all showed initial promise during promotions. Father Rishi Kapoor, during an interview with��a popular magazine, according to Pinkvilla, came to his son’s defence arguing that this was part and parcel of an actor’s career; it didn’t mean he wasn’t good at his job, just that it was filled with highs and lows. “He’s competent enough,” said the senior actor, “And he’s got the same��junoon for acting as his grandfather and me.”

The reigning actor of the 70’s also delved into his son’s reputation as a somewhat casanova, “I do not interfere in his personal life.��Today�۪s children will rather opt for live-in than go in for an arranged marriage. We have no say in Ranbir�۪s choice.”

The actor further added a comment which appears to have signalled an official end to the Ranbir-Katrina liaison. “He had two relationships in the past with his co-actresses. We had no problem. It is up to him who he wants as a girlfriend, as a wife or works with as a co-actor. We would only be happy to have a daughter-in-law.”

Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif are currently shooting for ‘Jagga Jasoos’ which is scheduled to release in August.
