Rhea questioned by NCB in drugs probe linked to Sushant case

After being summoned this morning, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) is questioning Rhea Chakraborty in a drugs probe linked to Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case.

Her summoning comes two days after her brother, Showik Chakraborty was arrested by the agency. Sushant’s house manager, Samuel Miranda and his house help, Dipesh Sawant have also been arrested.

Satish Maneshinde, her lawyer, said, “Rhea Chakraborty is ready for arrest… it’s a witch hunt. If loving someone is a crime, she’ll face consequences. Being innocent, she hasn’t approached any court for anticipatory bail in all cases foisted by (the) Bihar Police with (the) CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation), ED (Enforcement Directorate) and (the) NCB.”

Rhea and her family are being investigated after Rajput’s family accused them of mentally harassing the actor, for suicide abetment and other charges.
