Rhea’s transfer plea verdict in Sushant case due out on Wednesday

A verdict on Rhea Chakraborty’s plea to transfer an FIR against her from Patna to Mumbai, is due by the Supreme Court on Wednesday.

The plea was reserved on 11th August and is now expected to by the Supreme Court at 11:00 (IST) on Wednesday 18th August 2020. Meanwhile, there has been a huge demand for a CBI probe into Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, which has sparked global momentum.

Rajput’s sister, Shweta Singh Kirti took to Twitter earlier asking for an early decision in the two-month old case. She said, “We have been very hopeful and have been patiently waiting” adding that “every minute of delay is causing pain and heartbreak.”

Earlier today, Chakraborty released a statement with serious allegations against Rajput’s family. Rajput’s family lawyer hit back with press conference.
