Rhea Chakraborty’s lawyer, Satish Maneshinde has said that the actress was snubbed from the list of names attending Sushant Singh Rajput’s funeral.
Due to coronavirus restrictions, only 20 people were permitted to attend and Chakraborty’s name was left out.
Maneshinde was cited in Hindustan Times saying, “Rhea Chakraborty has always been living in Mumbai. She was in Mumbai on 14 June 2020. She was not allowed to attend the funeral of Sushant as her name was struck off from the list of 20”
He added that despite reports of her “missing”, she has been cooperating with the police on their investigation. He said, “Her statement was recorded there. Subsequently, she was summoned to appear on July 17 at Santacruz Police Station. She appeared and recorded her supplementary statement.”
Rajput’s father KK Singh filed an abetment to suicide against Chakraborty.
