Rhea Chakraborty to remain in jail until 20th October

Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik Chakraborty’s jail term has been extended until 20th October, its been confirmed.

The two were sent to jail last month by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on drugs-related charges linked to the ongoing Sushant Singh Rajput probe. Rhea was arrested for allegedly procuring drugs for the late actor.

NDTV reports that the special court had earlier rejected bail pleas of Rhea and Showik. They then moved the Bombay High Court to seek appeal, which has reserved its order on their petitions.
