Rhea Chakraborty on quashed FIR against Sushant’s sister Meetu

In the weeks and months after Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, there were so many legal proceedings taking place that many are waiting for the verdict on tenterhooks. As such, FIRs that were filed against Singh Rajput’s sisters Priyanka and Meetu have made the headlines today, relating to a medical prescription. Rhea Chakraborty has given her reaction to the Bombay High Court’s decision to quash the FIR against Meetu.

Chakraborty’s lawyer, Satish Maneshinde, has welcomed the decision by the HC. However, it has to be clear that the FIR against Priyanka is still outstanding and being investigated. According to Bollywood Hungama, Maneshinde said, “Petition filed by Priyanka Singh seeking Quashing of FIR filed by Rhea Chakraborty for offences of Forgery and Violating NDPS Act by getting Bogus Prescription for Illegally Administered Medicines to SSR Dismissed by Justice Shinde & Justice Karnik , Bombay High Court . We are satisfied with the verdict. It appears ultimately Rhea Chakraborty’s cry for Justice and Truth has prevailed. Satya Meva Jayate.”

Meanwhile, the investigation into the death of Singh Rajput is still being undertaken by the CBI.
