Her latest performance in Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ (2015) saw her receive much acclaim however it hasn’t been an easy ride for Shefali Shah. Having been previously signed forRiteish Sidhwani’s ‘Three Stories’, news has suggested that the actress walked away from the film soon after signing it. Shah has now gone on record revealing why she made such a decision.

When asked by the media,Shah is reported by NDTV explaining, “I was going to do Three Stories, but at the same point, there was a very big shift on the personal level. My children are probably moving to the US, and this happened exactly at the point when I was starting the shoot.”

She went on to talk about how the film’s shooting that was scheduled had clashed with the dates of her childrens’ school admission, which she needed to be present for.

“I wouldn’t have been doing complete justice as a mother as well as an actor. So I had to back out of it,So it was just not possible for me,” the actress added.

Shah will next bee seen playing a mother’s role once again, in the Akshay Kumar and Sidharth Malhotra starrer ‘Brothers’.
