Revealed: Why Nikhil Advani might’ve ditched next with Kangna Ranaut

After last year’s ‘Katti Batti’, producer-director Nikhil Advani had said he was to work with Kangna Ranaut once again in a new film. However, it seems Advani has had a change of heart post Ranaut’s spat with Hrithik Roshan,

According to Pinkvilla, a source revealed, “That film is on the back-burner right now. Nikhil had planned a film about serial killers with Kangna playing a tough cop, but it�۪s learnt that the film has been shelved. Nikhil might want to revisit the film after a few years, perhaps with a different cast. He wants to finalise the cast of Bazaar because that�۪s one project he�۪s lived with for years. That and his TV show. He has already discussed another project with Kangna. She has liked the idea. But even for that, Nikhil wants to wait it out because he fears that the ongoing Hrithik-Kangna spat which will affect his film”.

‘Katti Batti’ wasn’t a film that fared particularly well but it seems this fallout and legal battle with Roshan may end up affecting Ranaut more than she might have anticipated.
