Revealed: Why MS Dhoni needed breaks from Sushant Singh Rajput

Sushant Singh Rajput plays the lead role in the upcoming biopic of Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni and is excited to portray the legendary sportsperson on silver screen.

Singh Rajput told Hindustan Times at the trailer launch of ‘MS Dhoni – The Untold Story’ on Thursday ,”There was more excitement than pressure. I had the opportunity to know the story of iconic sportsman straight from Dhoni only.”

The actor also revealed that it was in 2007 that he first met Dhoni and his family. He said,”When you do a movie you improve much as an actor but there are some movies where you gain an extra-mile of being a good human being after doing it.��I have great respect for Dhoni,”the 30 year old actor added.

The ODI skipper who was present at the trailer launch shared his experiences and also opened up about inquisitiveness of Singh Rajput. The Captain Cool said,”He (Sushant) used to often ask a lot of questions to understand his life story and journey. At first I felt OK but after 15-20 minutes I was like that ‘I am talking only about myself…..I need a break now’,”said the 35 year old batsman-wicketkeeper-captain under whose leadership Team-India won T-20 world cup of 2007 and also clinched the title in 50 overs format in 2011″.
