Revealed: Why does Nargis Fakhri want to delay ‘Shaukeen’?

Nargis Fakhri, after her stint in ‘Rockstar’ (2011) opposite Ranbir Kapoor, was known not to know Hindi fluently. Her voice was dubbed in the film and that was no hidden thing. However, for her forthcoming movie ‘Shaukeen’, she wants to sound just right in her language and has asked that the project be delayed to give her the time to do that.

The film see Fakhri share the screen with Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal. As such, she wants to be more comfortable in her command of Hindi. A source told Deccan Chronicle, “She is busy promoting�� her next movie, Main Tera Hero and has���� little time. But once she fulfills all her commitments, she will�� attend classes to improve her Hindi, so she is prepared by the time she starts shooting for Shaukeen”.

Hats off to Fakhri who is sure showing that she’s serious about her Bollywood acting career. Let’s hope her lessons in Hindi prove to make her performance in ‘Shaukeen’ one that wows the audiences.
