Revealed: Why Arjun Kapoor doesn’t take advice from his father

Arjun Kapoor will be seen next in ‘Ki and Ka’, directed by R Balki. As a star son, he has always managed to remain close to his father who is also a producer Boney but he has said he doesn’t tend to turn to him for advice.

Speaking to Mumbai Mirror, Kapoor said, “I love my dad a lot, we talk all the time. But we’re exactly the same people emotionally so it’s not too wise to ask him for advice”. He also said that his friends, including Aarti Shetty and Abhishek Varman are those who have stuck with him through thick and thin. Talking about his sister Anshula, Kapoor also said, “My sister (Anshula Kapoor) is the most selfless person. She always puts me before herself. I often take her for granted and she lets me. She has a hold on me”.

Kapoor lost his mother Mona just before he made his debut in B-town. “The last four years have had their shares of ups and downs. She left a void in my life that I’ve been unable to fill, choosing instead to immerse myself in work. There are things I no longer take for granted. I get up, go out there and live my life. It can be extremely lonely at times”.

‘Ki and Ka’ also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and is slated for release on 1st April.
