Revealed: Release date of Ranbir-Anushka’s ‘Bombay Velvet’

Holiday release dates are always sought after in B-town. One more film to add to a forthcoming holiday season is Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Bombay Velvet’ which will be releasing in 2014 during Christmas.

Fox Star Studios are set to co-produce the movie, along with Kashyap, and it stars Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma in the lead roles. Vijay Singh, CEO, Fox Star Studios, confirmed the news, “We are delighted to partner with Anurag Kashyap on his next directorial venture ��Bombay Velvet�۪. What will make this cinematic journey unique will be the presence of Ranbir and Anushka as the lead protagonists”.

‘Bombay Velvet’ is expected to go on the floors later this year and will be the first of a trilogy set in Mumbai between the 1950s and the 1970s.
