Revealed: Plot of Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Mohenjo Daro’

Hrithik Roshan’s next, the magnum opus, ‘Mohenjo Daro’, directed by Ashutosh Gowariker has been in the news mainly for its grand set, and extensive shoots in Bhuj, Nothing much was known about the period drama, other than its main cast.��Now, rumors mills are abuzz with reports of ‘Mohenjo Daro’ being a revenge drama.

Mumbai Mirror��has reported that Roshan’s character will be avenging the death of his father in ‘Mohenjo Daro’. Roshan’s character would of been orphaned as a child and would be living with his uncle near the province of Mohenjo Daro. He falls in love with debutante Pooja Hedge’s character, and he��twist comes in when��Hedge’s father, played by Kabir Bedi, is��in fact, his father’s��murderer. Thus, the period drama, becomes a revenge drama. A source from the sets, revealed, “When he learns that there’s a fair in Mohenjo Daro, he sneaks out of his house and joins the fair with the ambition of becoming a trader. There he meets Pooja Hedge’s character and its love at first sight.”

While the plot may resemble Roshan’s last revenge drama, ‘Agneepath’ (2012), it’s also being reported that the action sequences of ‘Mohenjo Daro’ will be by par with Hollywood standards, being choreographer by Glen Boswell, who has choreographed stunts for ‘The Matrix’ (1999). He has apparently choreographed many��hand-to-hand combat sequences for the film.

‘Mohenjo Daro’ is slated to release on 12th August 2016.
