Revealed: Plot of Farah Khan’s ‘Happy New Year’

Farah Khan is known for her larger than life characters and films and her forthcoming ‘Happy New Year’ is going to be no different. Starring Shah Rukh Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham and Boman Irani, Khan is still on the lookout for her female lead. However, BizAsia has learnt more about the plot of the movie.

The story surrounds four friends who are led in one way or another to take part in a dance competition. The friends – played by the male characters – have just one thing going against them and that is their inability to dance. The film certainly sounds right up Khan’s street as it will enable her to show off her choreography as well as her directorial skills.

Khan, it is thought, is currently��deciding between Sonakshi Sinha and Parineeti Chopra for the leading lady’s role.
