Revealed: Details of Priyanka Chopra’s ‘Ram Leela’ song

Although Priyanka Chopra came out and denied being the item girl that would feature in a special song in the forthcoming ‘Ram Leela’, BizAsia can reveal that she is due to start shooting for the song today at Mumbai’s Film City.

Chopra’s attempts at item songs have not hit the right chord as yet but one hopes that this one with in a Sanjay Leela Bhansali film will change that. The song with be choreographer by Vishnu Deva and a huge set has been set up over the past 10 days especially for it.

A source told Mumbai Mirror, “Bhansali was scouting for a choreographer and he had seen Vishnu’s work in Oh My God where he had choreographed the Go Go Govinda number and he had also choreographed for Rowdy Rathore”.

The song will carry on the Gujarati theme and Chopra will have 20 female backing dancers accompanying her. Her outfit is an Anju Modi creation; the designer has also worked on Deepika Padukone’s wardrobe for the movie.
