Apparently, the bid went up as high as nearly £350,000. If this channel launches as planned then it will be the third Punjabi entertainment channel in the UK after PTC Punjabi and ZEE Punjabi.

The old ARY QTV slot on EPG 804 has reportedly been acquired by an unnamed consortium – led by a group of investors, who together bought the slot to launch a new Asian service. Other details of this service are yet to be announced.
