Report in Sushant Singh Rajput’s autopsy to take up to 10 days

A Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into Sushant Singh Rajput’s autopsy could take up to ten days before any report is produced.

When the actor passed away on 14th June 2020 at his apartment in Bandra, a postmortem was reportedly carried by five doctors at Cooper Hospital. The report concluded that Rajput passed away due to asphyxia caused by hanging. However, since the CBI has taken over the investigation, the report was sent to the AIIMS forensic department for a re-investigation.

The head of the AIIMS forensics department, Dr. Sudhir Gupta, said it could take up to ten days before any results. Talking to India Today, Gupta said that report will take time and the full medical board is examining all the findings that have been passed on from Mumbai.
