Remo D’Souza on choosing Katrina Kaif for his next

Filming for Remo D’Souza’s next, starring Katrina Kaif and Varun Dhawan for the first time together, is likely to kick off in January 2019.

Reported by Deccan Chronicle, the dance master shared in an interview why he chose to cast Kaif and Dhawan for his forthcoming film. “I decided to choose Varun and Katrina as they suit the character. Katrina has come a long way. She is now a great performer and also a great dancer, hence she has been termed as a star. Also she works very hard for her character. Varun Dhawan has already proved his mettle.”

When asked to share what his dance film was about, the dance judge kept tight-lipped, “You are asking me if Varun and Katrina represent the dance competition belonging to the same team? Or they are heading different dance teams? That’s my story…I would not like to reveal anything further.”

D’Souza’s untitled project is slated to release towards the second half of 2019.
