Remo D’Souza to launch Avitesh Shrivastava

Son of late music composer Aadesh Shrivastava, Avitesh Shrivastava is on the approach to his Bollywood debut. Choreographer and filmmaker Remo D’Souza has confirmed to DNA that he is going to launch Avitesh in a film that will hit the floors in January 2018.

D’Souza highlighted that the film which will mark Avitesh’s Bollywood debut is a separate project to the dance film that he is making with Salman Khan, reportedly titled ‘Dancing Dad’. The dance film starring Khan has been put on hold as D’Souza is giving priority to ‘Race 3’.

Hailing from a musical background, Avitesh is busy learning the skills of acting by attending classes and workshops in preparation for his debut. Known for his bond with veteran actor, Amitabh Bachchan, Avitesh’s father’s sudden death had been a shock to all members of the Hindi film industry.

Having worked with the distinguished composer in ‘Baabul’ (2006) and ‘Baghban’ (2003), Bachchan had assigned Avitesh with the responsibility of composing the title track of his 2015 talk show ‘Aaj Ki Raat Hai Zindagi’.
