Rekha's comeback postponed
Rekha's comeback postponed

The evergreen Rekha was all set to make her return to the big screen in ‘Super Nani’ which was slated for release on 1st May. However, BizAsia can confirm that, due to the election period, the film has been postponed.

Deccan Chronicle quote a source stating, “Earlier, the makers had zeroed in on May 1 as they wanted to arrive right after the examination season. However, the election itinerary threw a curve ball at them. Director Indra Kumar, who has produced the film along with Ashok Thakeria, felt that it would be best to postpone the release”.

The first look of the film should come in May but the film has now been re-scheduled to release in June. A source continued, “Super Nani is really special for Rekhaji. Her last notable role was in Koi… Mil Gaya (2003) followed by a shorter role in Krrish. So after a really long time, she will be playing the title role of a protagonist”.
